One Less

Sometime years ago
A woman had a choice to make
To kill or let live
The baby girl on the way
Thank the Lord she did what she did
So much would be lost
If one little girl
Had never made it to this world

The world would be
One less influence
One less child of God
One less actress
There would be
One less leader
One less smile
One less beauty here
And for some there’d be
One less best friend

Dark brown eyes and hair
Short but a beauty just the same
She has got such flair
A way with welcoming
Been a friend her entire life
So much would be lost
If one little girl
Had never made it to this world
